Question 1

What is Fable Shrine?

Accepted Answer

Fable Shrine is an original cozy fantasy RPG and life-simulation experience in development for Roblox. You build a farm in the valley of Mistvale, make a living in the town of Juno, explore dangerous ruins and uncover a mystery beneath the city's golden shrine.

Question 2

Is it on Roblox? Can I play now?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Fable Shrine is planned for Roblox and is currently in development. There is no public game link yet — when there is, it will be announced on our Updates page.

Question 3

Can I play solo or with friends?

Accepted Answer

The first prototype focuses on solo play. Cooperative play for 1–4 friends is a planned feature for later in development.

Question 4

What are the Mistvale Isles?

Accepted Answer

Mistvale's valley opens onto an inland sea dotted with islands and ringed by eight great mountains. Sailing between the isles and diving into sea caves and shipwrecks are planned exploration features.

Question 5

Is there PvP?

Accepted Answer

No. Fable Shrine is strictly PvE. Players never fight each other, and the Thief class never steals from other players.

Question 6

What classes are there?

Accepted Answer

Five are planned: Warrior (Heavy Strike, Guard), Archer (Focused Shot, Evade Roll), Thief (Quick Slash, Shadowstep), Wizard (Sparkbolt, Arcane Burst) and Priest (Mend, Radiant Pulse).

Question 7

Will my farm be saved?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a persistent farm is a core design goal. Your crops, animals and cottage are planned to stay with you between sessions.

Question 8

What do pets do?

Accepted Answer

Pets are friendly companions. You can have one active companion at a time, and some live on your farm. They don't fight. Starter pets include Hen, Burrowcat and Sprite Fox, with more planned through earned, hatchable eggs.

Question 9

What is the current status of the game?

Accepted Answer

In development. Early work centres on a solo slice: one usable farm, a few ruined farm sites to explore, a handful of townsfolk and the first quests. Everything on this site describes design goals, not finished features.

Question 10

Will there be paid purchases?

Accepted Answer

Gold is the everyday currency you earn by playing. The design goal is that nothing required for gameplay is ever paid. Any optional extras will be considered carefully and announced openly.

Question 11

When does it launch?

Accepted Answer

There is no launch date yet. We'd rather share a real date when we have one than guess.

Question 12

Where can I follow news?

Accepted Answer

Right here on the Updates page. A community Discord is planned and will be linked here when it opens. Official social channels will be listed on this site once they exist — please be careful of unofficial accounts.
